Perfect hidden gem

The kindness of the staff and how they put your safety as paramount. The food was wonderful and plentiful, and the rooms were stunning. 2 minute walk to the main square Jma El Fnaa, but the riad is still peaceful and quiet. It is perfect for immersing into morocca culture, and the room even had a minibar fridge with water and soft drinks.The room has air-conditioning to keep you cool and the windows really make the room, with their bright colours. We loved our stay!

There isn't anything we didn't like. Maybe breakfast could be until 9am, but that is not a negative.. because breakfast is wonderful.

Great Riad

The Riad has a special charm, the terraces are very beautiful. The location is unbeatable 2 min from the JEMAA EL-FNA square but it is still an oasis of peace. The receptionist is lovely and all the staff is very friendly. We will be back!

Clean and Comfortable

The Riad was located very close to the Big Square or the Medina which was super convenient. It was homey and comfortable and a lovely Moroccan breakfast was served every morning. The Riad was quiet and the staff was very hospitable. The Riad was also super clean which I found very impressive.

It was a little difficult to find as the taxi from the airport could not drive me directly to the entrance. Hence, there was a short 5 minute walk from the main street to the Riad which was located on a small side street. There was good signage close to the Riad but none from the main turn off from the Medina. Everythng else was great!

Very pleasant

Staff, Soufiane and Khadija exceeded our expectations, they were so friendly and warm welcoming. They had to go the Market to buy a new cot for our baby prior to our arrival. The location is 1 min walk from Jamaa alfna and local market.

We had to park 10 min walk from the Riyad, wish makes it a bit difficult for travelers with kids

Great Location just off Jma El-Fna

The location was perfect, and this is very important in marrakech, as you do not want to be too deep into the medina. The breakfast was lovely, the interior was fabulous, and safiana looked after us fantastically!

Exceptional

Souffien was very nice with us, helped and gave recommendations about everything we needed. The location is very good, near the main square. Breakfast was also wonderful. And the rooms were big and very clean. I would definitely recommend Riad Persephone for an stay in Marrakech.

Very nice and comfortable

The Riad is in a very quiet area but very central, very comfortable also to reach taxi etc. The riad is very attentive and clean, we really like our room. The Khadija was attentive and provided a lot of info, and also reply very fast to all the requests. She also stayed over the night to provide a better service.

There was a bit of miscommunication among the staff, the information requested was different according to the person responding. Most likely it looks like the manager/owner is less aware of the costs of the extra services. When we booked the trip to the desert we were not given any voucher and did not have enough information, and a few things were given for granted. When we called from the desert the manager replied that he would have contacted us the day after, but we needed assistance on the spot. Khadija replied even if she was off. However, could not help much. When booking the trip to the desert make sure to ask for a tent with a private bathroom. Also, I would recommend buying it outside, with a little extra per person roughly €15.00 you can have a luxury room with heaters and more.

One of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed in on holiday.

This place is a beautiful Moroccan riad, nicely kept original and staff are very nice and welcoming as well as very helpful. It had many terraces to enjoy and a meal or a drink and the room was very comfortable, spacious and most importantly had an AC. the location is exceptional, right in the heart of the old Medina of Marrakech.

The place could do with a bit more cleaning and dusting off, especially the terraces.

Great accommodation

The riad is traditional Moroccian riad with splendid views. It's location is great in gamaa el fena yet extremely quiet away from the noise of the fena. The host were extremely kind and helpful (Sofian & khadiga) The AC was extremely helpful to have a nice sleep The riad had a roof were you can sit it but only in the evening

If you have a lot of luggage, you are going to drag it all way into the alley. It was extremely tiring and difficult but there were signs behind cafe du France that were helpful. Also the bathroom is a part of the room with no doors and a small wall. The bathroom has small wall so all the sounds in the bathroom will be heard. Its not for friends or family The bad thing about the roof that all the chairs needs renovation and a sun shade. I couldn't sit on the roof top since there were no sunshade
